"Update: Removing a star as the owner claims to have tried to contact me multiple times when my license came back invalid. This is incorrect information as I went through mine and my husband's call logs and have no missed calls from his team and my emails with Melanie are all saved, the last contact I had from her was to have a good weekend after submitting my information. First of all, Melanie is the sweetest most communicative agent I have ever dealt with. However, we started our policy with state farm and then underwriting decided that my driver license is invalid and cancelled our policy. I sent my driver's license information in after two weeks of getting this notice because when they sent it I was on vacation. I thought no news was good news after hearing back from Melanie stating she would let me know if there were any other questions. Somehow I missed a call from her(I have no record of a phone call) and did not know that our insurance had lasped. In trying to resolve this matter underwriting states they will not back date the lapse and I would have to start a new policy. After I paid money to the DMV to get my driving record to prove my license is active. On top of this my husband's license will be suspended if we do not submit the tags and pay a reinstatement fee. Frustrating situation, though I do not blame Melanie for this."
